    NEW COMPANY POLICY IN EFFECT

July 13th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

    Company Policy:

    Effective from 15 July 2007

    Dress Code

It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a pay rise.

If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a pay rise.

If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a pay rise.

    Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor’s certificate as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

    Holiday Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

    Compassionate Leave

This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend to the arrangements. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early.

    Toilet Use

Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the cubicles. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the cubicle door will open, and your picture will be taken. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company notice board under the ‘Chronic Offenders’ category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company’s mental health policy.

    Lunch Break

Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more so that they can look healthy. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that’s all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Remember we are an employer of choice and we are here to provide a positive employment experience. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation and input should be directed elsewhere.

    Things to ponder over

July 4th, 2007 by Ray Jackson
    •    I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

    •    Gardening Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

    • The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

    • Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

    • There are two kinds of pedestrians: the quick and the dead.

    • Life is sexually transmitted.

    • Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

    • The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.

    • Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

    • Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

    • Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used to?

    • Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

    • All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

    • In the 60’s, people took acid to make the world weird.  Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

    • Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

    • How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

    • Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?

    • If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a song about him?

    • Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They’re both dogs!

    • If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

    • If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from?

    • Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?

    • Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog’s face, he gets mad at you, but when you take him on a car ride, he sticks his head out the window?

    • Does pushing the elevator button more than once make it arrive faster?

    • Why doesn’t glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

    • Do you ever wonder why you visited my blog?

    Lottery Scams

June 30th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

    Guarantee

While surffing the net it has come to my attention that alot of people are now feeling that VWD and e-lottery is a pyramid scam…  so i would like to direct your attention to this post:I’m hoping the details below may reassure people (you) that this is not the case.

e-Lottery is now used by various organisations like Celtic FC, Bolton Wanderers, cricket clubs like yorkshire cricket club and a few more big names out there who are e-lottery affiliates and gladly advertise it on their sites.

Heres Newcastle United’s e-Lottery homepage Pic

    Newcastle United

And yes, you do get 88 lines a week for your £5. You’re in a 49 player syndicate for £5, with 49 tickets. All 49 players have the same 5 numbers. If your syndicate matches the 5 numbers, you win the jackpot due to the guaranteed 6th ball number, and you share the jackpot amongst the 49 people. So say the jackpot is £1 million, because you have 49 tickets with slightly different combinations, the Prize money goes to £1.2million approximately, so you win more in essence. The company only promote via affiliate members using Network Marketing or NM (sometimes known as Multi-Level Marketing or MLM) on the other hand is where a valuable product is bought by customers, and in turn, customers can opt to become distributors to other customers themselves (a bit like Avon, Kleeneze which i have also tried etc.). Of course, the business model takes on a pyramid shape, but the main difference between NM and the pyramid schemes is that people lower down in the pyramid have the potential to make MORE than those higher up. The National and EuroMillions Lotteries are a part of most people’s lives, and with VWD, we increase customers’ chances of winning by 702% (UK National Lotto) and 3600% (EuroMillions)!!!

Of course people will be interested. At £5/week for both the Wednesday and Saturday draws (UK National Lotto) and £5/week (EuroMillions), we meet the average price most people pay a week on the lottery for just ONE draw.

    Is It A Pyramid Scheme?

No and I’ll explain why. The main difference between a pyramid scheme and the company I’m with is that a pyramid scheme has no product and you can only make money by introducing people into the pyramid. Pyramid Schemes are illegal, and I’d recommend staying away from them. At Virtual World Direct we have a fully legitimate product (approved by The Lotteries Council) and you don’t have to join the business side of things if you don’t want to. We’re exactly the same as a company like Avon Cosmetics, except the only difference is that our products aren’t physical, they are National and EuroMillions Lotto Multi-Win Syndicate Memberships.

Why Do I Only Have 5 Numbers? (UK National Lottery)

Because the 6th number is always guaranteed by Virtual World Direct. They do this by placing 44 tickets on the National Lottery draw which all have the same 5 numbers, but a different 6th number. That way, we have a 702% better chance of winning.

Why Do I Only Have 5 Numbers? (EuroMillions)

Because the ‘Lucky Star’ numbers are always guaranteed by Virtual World Direct. They do this by placing 36 tickets on the EuroMillions draw with the same 5 numbers, and then placing different combinations of the ‘Lucky Star’ numbers so that every possible outcome is covered to guarantee that they come up in every single draw. That way, we have a 3600% better chance of winning.

VWD e-Lottery are also governed by the http://www.lotteriescouncil.org.uk

The Lotteries Council is an organisation which is open to any organisation or person who promotes a lawful lottery and was formed 25 years ago with the aim of representing the common interests of fund-raisers large and small, in all areas from charities to sporting bodies, all of whom are working to comply with gambling laws.

I hope this clears everything up, i got this artical from:

    HOW TO BEAT LOTTERY FRAUDSTERS

Fraudulent activities on the Internet are increasing worldwide and a disturbing menace which can cost unsuspecting victims dearly in lost funds.

Lottery scam emails are frequently circulated with the aim of collecting personal information relating to identification and financial account details, etc.

We receive details of many dubious emails from members and the public from all over the world. You can be assured that these unsolicited communications have nothing to do with e-lottery. Another reassuring fact is that our website and systems are secure – protected by the latest sophisticated technology and appropriate security.

However, you must always be aware of the existence of fraudsters on the Internet - cunning operators completely focused on financial gain and their tactics vary. So if you ever have any doubts about an email – delete it. If you ever have concerns about lottery scams don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always here to help.

The following are a few suggestions on how to protect yourself.

    • 1. Never provide personal or financial information.

    • 2. Don’t be drawn into making an ‘up front’ payment for a lottery prize that probably doesn’t exist.

    • 3. Beware of links which could lead you to so-called ‘spoof sites’ set up to extract information from you, like updating personal records which could provide the means to reach or even access your account.

    • 4. Whenever you want to discuss your account with e-lottery, we will always verify your identity by asking specific security questions. Our customer care team do not have access to your full password.

Email scams that claim you have won a Lottery prize

Lottery scam emails are increasing at an alarming rate. These scams work in two ways:

Method 1: Persuade the victim to part with personal information to allow the scammers to carry out Identity Theft.

Method 2: Persuade the victim to part with money as an up front payment in order to release a winning Lottery prize which does not exist.

    Signs of a fraudulent email:

    • There may be a sense of urgency, eg ‘respond within X days or your Account will be closed’

    • There may be embedded links (links within the body of the email) that look legitimate because they contain all or part of a real company’s name. These links may take you to spoof sites which ask you to update personal information, or may download key-logging software onto your PC

    • Spoof websites can be difficult to spot.

    • Contact email addresses may be used that are obviously not from a company, such as blahblah-lotto@hotmail.com - How many legitimate companies do you think would use that type of email for their business?

    • You are normally asked to contact an “Agent” or “Processing Officer”

    • It almost always says something likeYour e-mail address attached to ticket number xxxxxxx “

    • There may be spelling mistakes or bad grammar/punctuation.

    Spoof websites (known as ‘phishing’)

Fraudsters create false or spoof websites that look very real, with the aim of persuading users to enter personal information such as passwords and memorable information. They will then re-use this information to access your Account. Customers get emails claiming to be from official websites asking them to click on a link within the email to the ’spoof’ site.

e-lottery would never ask you to email us with confidential information.

In order to protect yourself from such scams, we advise the following:

    • Don’t click on links in unsolicited emails

    • Never send any up-front fees required in order to ‘claim your prize’

    • Never disclose personal information or financial information via email or a ‘claims’ or ‘verification’ form

    • If you wish to visit a particular website, always key in the address directly rather than using an embedded link

    • Always remember, where you wish to discuss your Account with e-lottery, we will always verify your identity by asking specific security questions disclosed to us when you set up your Account. The  Customer Care team do not have access to your full password

Remember, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!

    e-lotbidder

VWD and the multi-win syndicate system comply fully with the National Lotto terms and conditions of play. Please Note: ‘£5,000 income per month’ is only one possible income you could achieve if enough of your syndicate’s numbers come up in the UK lotto draws, or if your team expands large enough. VWD nor myself claim, in any way, that you will make money by becoming a member. You may make a lot, you may not make a penny. This is NOT a get rich quick scheme.

The pre-launch eVo website beats world giant in traffic

June 24th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

According to alexa.com (the site that ranks traffic to web sites) the new evo site is getting over four times the ranking that Virgin Atlantic gets and almost 3 times the traffic that ford.com and Visa.com gets.

    alexa.com

How does that benefit you my readers?
Well it means the news is spreading about eVo like wildfire so the sooner you pre-register to obtain your free site and tell people the sooner they will pre register on your own site giving you the opportunity to make a great start.

    How do you tell people?
well when you register and obtain your site use the Tell a Friend feature on your eVo site, start to benefit from this massive audience and traffic now because every day you leave it is another day wasted and chances are by time you get on the train and tell people they have already been told about project e-play and eVo by someone else and got their ticket.

look at this video for some inside news:

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer…

June 21st, 2007 by Ray Jackson

My job as a carer for the mentally ill can be challenging at times and even down heartening when a resident relapses or family member doesn’t understand how the residents illness affects them, even more so when they don’t except there is a problem and fight us all the way! i find that really sad for obvious reasons i can not go in to any details as i I’m bound by confidentiality and my works guidelines etc.

Anyway today was a good day as i took a number of residents to watch the new Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer… yes was as much for my enjoyment as for theirs hehe, call it perks of the job! being senior care and activities coordinator has its advantages… going for free and getting out in the nice fresh air just to name some.

    Fantastic 4

The Resident really enjoyed the film, i think cause they were all men and Jessica Alba did look fine (as always)
    Jessica Alba Jessica Alba

Director Tim Story stays true to the roots of the first Fantastic Four film from 2005, keeping the sequel fun and clean even with my wild imagination (you ladies know what i mean hehe). He has managed to develop a new story with a couple new characters that makes our favorite 4 heroes grow even more true fans of the comics may pic up parts from issue #48. as well as issues 57-60. in my opinion Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is far better than its predecessor, and one of the better sequels i have had the pleasure of watching and that’s not just down to Jessica either although she would put class to any film if you ask me.

When the film starts things appear to be going great for the Fantastic Four, Reed (Ioan Gruffudd) and Susan (Jessica Alba) are in love and ready to be married, Johnny (Chris Evans) is still on fire with the ladies, and Ben (Michael Chiklis) has finally found happiness with Alicia Masters (Kerry Washington). However, you know that wont last long lol… their happiness will be tested when strange occurrences start happening around the globe that only point to one culprit: a mysterious being known only as The Silver Surfer (Doug Jones and Laurence Fishburne)…

     Silver Surfer

all i will say is not all is what it appears and an old friend from charmed Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon) will be reunited with the Fantastic four once again!

    Von Doom

One of the biggest improvements that ’Rise’ has over the first film is the fact that the Fantastic work more as a team in my opinion and even Torch learns to play ball (i think it great what they have done with his character). Yes, i know in the first movie they fought together, but because they were still knew to there powers they seemed to be fighting within them self’s as well but this time, they take a different approach and take on even the smaller events together.

Anyway i don’t want to talk the film to much but Tim Story really did a good job with the atmosphere of ‘Rise’. He explores every corner of the planet, with action scenes i noticed  in Germany, New York, China, outer space, and the heroes’ kitchen lol. All the action scenes are well done and the special effects used are smooth and effective, even though it looks as though most of the increased budget was spent on The Silver Surfer and Galactus, who look amazing. They forgot to make Mr. Fantastic look as realistic as possible, because most of the time you can see the visual effects. All in all, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (PG) is a fun movie experience that anyone over age 11 or 12 should enjoy as I’m nearly 30 and thought it was great hehe (I’m a big kid).

Please join me on my new social networks

June 11th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

For the past number of weeks now, my partner’s Gav Graham and Mike King have been discussing an idea which they had to allow Social Networkers and Internet Marketers to join forces in a Community setting which they would be able to enjoy earning an income from profit sharing while doing exactly what it is that we all enjoy doing every day right now.

RFN is currently in prelaunch beta testing as we wanted to give our members the opportunity to join the Community and let us know what it is that they would like to see us add as we grow into one of the most successful Communities online today ranking right up there with Bizpreneur and Lazzeo which I personally think have the potential of being two of the most successful communities online in their own right.  I absolutely love these two communities which is why we have chosen to use a format that is very similar to what you are familiar with already if your a member there.
If not feel free to join me there:
    Bizpreneur and Lazzeo

Like BizPreneur and Lazzeo it is our goal to allow all members to share in the success and growth of our Community through allowing members to post Adsense on their profile pages, profit sharing from Community Advertising Revenues, and positions in a Community wide 2X10 Matrix which you can purchase as many positions as you want or as few for just 10 cents per month.

My partner Gav has designed a system using a similar payplan of another very popular program which gives members the option of joining our Golden Matrix Profit Sharing System for just 10 cents per month and this is a sliding Matrix meaning that the more people who fall under you and the more money you are earning the more your position will cost monthly up to a total of 15.00 per month max, but since you do not pay any more than 10 cents until you are in profit you actually never pay more out of pocket than 10 cents per month.  It is unique and promises to be extremely effective as a passive income generating system while you are busy doing what we all love to do best, Social Networking.

The beauty of this Golden Matrix though is that it is Community wide meaning that all members who join RFN will fill out the Matrix level per level with no empty spaces and no one getting left behind and of course with the Community profit sharing system which will be made available in the next week, members can literally earn an income even if there is no one under them in the Matrix.

As a member of our Community you will enjoy all of the same perks that you are used to as a member of any other Community while at the same time being able to profit from the most affordable team building Matrix System that has ever been seen online.

I am sure that you will see the potential of what myself and my partner have worked so hard to create for all Social Networkers and Internet Marketers and look forward to meeting you all at RFN.  I am going to invite all of my RFN members to come over here to Bizpreneur as well so that in essence we will be building two of the best Communities on the Internet at the same time, well actually three when you consider Lazzeo as well.

You can register to join RFN for free at RFN Network

    The importance of backing up!

June 9th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

What happens when you don’t back up your blog?

    Backup

I learned a valuable lesson not so long ago, for those of you who are regular visitors to my blog you may of noticed it’s changed a lot (for the better i think) and has a lot less posts! this was not planned but i did something very silly. I have had this blog now for nearly a year and never thought to back it up as it’s on the net like, well guess what…

I made some changes to my main domain vwd-e-lotto, forgetting that my blog was in the directory, i told Dreamweaver to publish the whole site, even asked me if i was sure so i said yes! later that evening i come to do some admin stuff on here and low and behold I’m welcomed with “it doesn’t appear you have wordpress installed yet” please install it now…

Have a confused look on my face at this time wondering what has happened and why, then it came to me, I over wrote it myself (feels like a fool)… didn’t have anything backed up as stated so down the river that blog goes! i did get some posts from the rss feed which was lucky!

    Fire

So for the next few days I had a fire under my ass getting this back up and running and with the help of a few friends who wish to remain nameless i am now back up to speed and with an added need to succeed and make this blog great!
You know who you are lover hehe!

So to conclude, backup or face the wrath and the enjoyment of doing all that work again

    What is E-lotbidder all about?

June 6th, 2007 by Ray Jackson

Ok so now you know how my lottery business works assuming you have read my previous blog entry! but that’s not all i have to offer included in ‘Virtual World Direct Ltd’ there is also a new game called E-lotbidder

So how does e-lotbidder work and how can it benefit you?

Well it’s like an auction and a game of skill rolled into one. In a normal auction the highest bidder normally wins, but, with e-lotbidder it’s the LOWEST unique bid that wins, which means you can WIN prizes for literally PENNIES! just like the I-pod that went for 98p or the £10,000 Merk that went for… hold your breath less than £55

You decide what you think will be the lowest bid that nobody else will make, therefore making your bid unique…and if on the closing date of the auction your bid is the lowest unique bid, YOU WIN THE PRIZE! simple as that

Place as many bids as you wish… don’t forget the more bids you make the more you increase your chance of winning our incredible prizes for pennies. And this is the best bit…YOUR FIRST BID IS ABSOLUTELY FREE! Happy Bidding! There after £1.50

What is the difference between a unique bid & the lowest unique bid?

    How does it work?

How do I place a bid?

Choose any of our auction prizes - you can place as many bids as you wish on as many auctions as you wish - then when you place a bid you will see the result of that bid in the Bid-O-Meter. It will also tell you whether your bid is not unique, unique but not the lowest or it is the current lowest unique bid.

At the same time you will also be given a Bidding Tip which, by using your skill and judgment, you can locate empty (unique) bids which no one has currently entered a bid for and also to help you turn any unique bids you may have into the current lowest unique bid.

    Bidding Tips: Examples

There are 0 empty bids below £1.50
This tells you the number of empty/unique bids that are available (bid price that no one has entered yet therefore making them unique) below a certain value.

For example if the bid-o-meter says There are 0 empty bids below £1.50 that means that all bids below £1.50 are taken and that there are NO unique bids below £1.50 so you need to place your next bid above £1.50.

If the bid-o-meter says There are 5 empty bids below £1.50 that means there are empty bids which no one has placed a bid on (unique), so use your skill and judgment and place bids below £1.50. This helps you capture unique bids which you could turn into the lowest unique bid during the game by knocking off the lowest unique bid.

The current lowest unique bid which is HELD BY SOMEONE is between £2.00 & £3.50
This tip tells you where the person who currently holds the lowest unique bid is. This allows you to hunt down the current lowest unique bid so you can knock it off by placing a bid of the same amount and hopefully turn one of your unique bids into the new lowest unique bid.

You have just knocked off the lowest unique bid & the new lowest unique bid is between £2.00 & £3.50
This tip means you have successfully knocked off the current lowest unique bid and have turned a unique bid into the new lowest unique bid. It will also tell you where the new lowest unique bid is now, so you can keep hunting it down until one of your unique bids becomes the lowest unique bid.

You have just knocked off a unique bid & the lowest unique bid is between £2.00 & £3.50
This tip tells you if you have knocked out a unique bid which could make your unique bids around that amount the lowest unique bid if you knock off the current lowest unique bid. You are also rewarded with a message telling you where the lowest unique bid currently is.
