While surffing the net it has come to my attention that alot of people are now feeling that VWD and e-lottery is a pyramid scam… so i would like to direct your attention to this post:I’m hoping the details below may reassure people (you) that this is not the case.

And yes, you do get 88 lines a week for your £5. You’re in a 49 player syndicate for £5, with 49 tickets. All 49 players have the same 5 numbers. If your syndicate matches the 5 numbers, you win the jackpot due to the guaranteed 6th ball number, and you share the jackpot amongst the 49 people. So say the jackpot is £1 million, because you have 49 tickets with slightly different combinations, the Prize money goes to £1.2million approximately, so you win more in essence.The company only promote via affiliate members using Network Marketing or NM (sometimes known as Multi-Level Marketing or MLM) on the other hand is where a valuable product is bought by customers, and in turn, customers can opt to become distributors to other customers themselves (a bit like Avon, Kleeneze which i have also tried etc.). HOW TO BEAT LOTTERY FRAUDSTERS
Fraudulent activities on the Internet are increasing worldwide and a disturbing menace which can cost unsuspecting victims dearly in lost funds.
Lottery scam emails are frequently circulated with the aim of collecting personal information relating to identification and financial account details, etc.
We receive details of many dubious emails from members and the public from all over the world. You can be assured that these unsolicited communications have nothing to do with e-lottery. Another reassuring fact is that our website and systems are secure – protected by the latest sophisticated technology and appropriate security.
However, you must always be aware of the existence of fraudsters on the Internet - cunning operators completely focused on financial gain and their tactics vary. So if you ever have any doubts about an email – delete it. If you ever have concerns about lottery scams don’t hesitate to contact us. We are always here to help.
The following are a few suggestions on how to protect yourself.

Email scams that claim you have won a Lottery prize
Lottery scam emails are increasing at an alarming rate. These scams work in two ways:
Method 1: Persuade the victim to part with personal information to allow the scammers to carry out Identity Theft.
Method 2: Persuade the victim to part with money as an up front payment in order to release a winning Lottery prize which does not exist.
Signs of a fraudulent email:

There may be a sense of urgency, eg ‘respond within X days or your Account will be closed’

There may be embedded links (links within the body of the email) that look legitimate because they contain all or part of a real company’s name. These links may take you to spoof sites which ask you to update personal information, or may download key-logging software onto your PC

Spoof websites can be difficult to spot.

Contact email addresses may be used that are obviously not from a company, such as blahblah-lotto@hotmail.com - How many legitimate companies do you think would use that type of email for their business?

You are normally asked to contact an “Agent” or “Processing Officer”

It almost always says something like “Your e-mail address attached to ticket number xxxxxxx “

There may be spelling mistakes or bad grammar/punctuation.
Spoof websites (known as ‘phishing’)
Fraudsters create false or spoof websites that look very real, with the aim of persuading users to enter personal information such as passwords and memorable information. They will then re-use this information to access your Account. Customers get emails claiming to be from official websites asking them to click on a link within the email to the ’spoof’ site.
e-lottery would never ask you to email us with confidential information.
In order to protect yourself from such scams, we advise the following:

Never disclose personal information or financial information via email or a ‘claims’ or ‘verification’ form

If you wish to visit a particular website, always key in the address directly rather than using an embedded link
